“Moments in my Neighbourhood” is Christine’s fourth major solo exhibition following 2018’s “A Moment in Time”, 2019’s “Moments and More”, and 2020’s “Moments Suspended” exhibitions.
Christine’s previous exhibitions focused on her passion for nature and landscape photography. This year’s exhibits are all photographs taken in Singapore, specifically in the neighbourhood of Christine’s home.

As the Covid-19 pandemic continues into its second year, causing lockdowns of various degrees and continuing to turn our ‘normal’ daily life as we know it upside down, Christine has not been able to follow her passion for landscape, travel, and nature photography as she would normally have.
Instead, she started to take a closer look at her neighbourhood in Singapore as hunting grounds for motifs for her photography.

This led to the idea to publish her photographs taken in Singapore in a series of books.
The first book in this series will be “Moments in my Neighbourhood” and the pictures of this exhibition will be featured in this book.

Some of the photographs shown in this exhibition have been internationally exhibited and won honorable mentions in the 2021 MonoVisions Photography Awards – International B&W Photo Contest.
