The Yoga Shala

Anyone who has practised ashtanga yoga for any length of time has a story to tell. Stories about how they started, what yoga has done for them, the teachers they have worked with, or how yoga has changed their life for the better.

At The Yoga Shala we offer nothing more than a chance for others to begin stories of their own. Ours is a small place, with a great love for method, commitment, and most of all practice

The Shala was born out of students' love for their practice and a teacher's love for teaching.

No one person or school can claim to own yoga, its benefits or its teachings.
Yoga belongs to everyone and is for anyone who wishes to put in the time and effort to discover it.

We do our best to provide a safe and friendly environment in which to learn a method which has been passed down directly from teacher to student for decades.
