The Singapore Convention Week (SC Week) 2022 will be held from 29 August to 2 September 2022.
Organised by the Singapore Ministry of Law (MinLaw), in collaboration with partner organisations, SC Week 2022 features a week-long series of legal and dispute resolution-related events.
At the heart of the SC Week is the UNCITRAL Academy held from 30 August to 1 September 2022, which comprises the UNCITRAL Academy Conference and the UNCITRAL Academy Capacity-Building Workshops, jointly organised by MinLaw and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
Themed ‘Embracing Global Change, Navigating New Possibilities’, the UNCITRAL Academy will feature international and local experts in the legal, business and government sectors. The panel discussions and fireside chats will focus on current and emerging global issues, including investor-state dispute settlement, dispute resolution in relation to the digital economy, climate change, and other specialised fields.
