Inspired by the short story vending machines designed and produced by France's Short Editions, Sing Lit Cloud is a series of CLOD (Cloud Literature On Demand) printers capable of printing short excerpts readable in 1–5 minutes. The excerpts have been taken from a variety of prolific Singaporean publishers and authors and feature a wide range of genres suitable for all ages, accessed from a digital archive of Singaporean prose called prose.sg.

This programme is in conjunction with #BuySingLit.

#BuySingLit is an industry-led movement to celebrate stories from Singapore. Advocating 'Buy Local, Read Our World', homegrown book publishers, retailers and literary non-profits have come together to encourage more people to discover and embrace Singapore's literature.
