Overlooking the lush greenery of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Bukit Timah Fire Station now houses SPRUCE@Firestation, a chic dining concept following a complete overhaul of the colonial building. With a dramatic soaring glass façade that allows plenty of natural light in the day and wonderful views by night, it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for its guests. With its mix of New American standards, the food here is unpretentious as their mantra is to keep ingredients fresh and exciting.
Bukit Timah Fire Station
Built in 1956, Bukit Timah Fire Station was the fourth fire station in Singapore’s history. It was one of the few stations that had flatted quarters for the firemen and their families. It was closed in April 2005 and after three years it has since been revamped into an enrichment centre.
