The Killers To Headline Saturday At The Grand Prix

Dubbed by Rolling Stone and MTV as the hottest band of 2005, The Killers first blazed onto the Indie scene in 2003 with their hit 'Mr. Brightside'. Since then, their four albums "Hot Fuss", "Sam's Town", "Day & Age", & "Battle Born",have sold over 15 million copies worldwide.

In their ten years together, The Killers have earned a reputation as one of the world's finest live bands and amassed a collection of BRIT, MTV, NME, Q, World Music and most recently, ASCAP Awards.

Consisting of Brandon Flowers (lead vocals, keyboards), Dave Keuning (guitar, backing vocals), Mark Stoermer (bass, backing vocals) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (drums, percussion), the band has been a key player in the post-punk revival movement, drawing their influences from music styles of the 1980s.

After a year-long hiatus, the band's rapturous return at the inaugural Lollapalooza in Chile convinced them to get back together and write songs. Battle Born was the result, incorporating elements from each of the records that came before it: a mix of yearning mythic America, gratuitous hooks and pop nous. With the record in the can, the band is eager to get on the road and re-introduce The Killers to the world.

Fans can look forward to a charged-up Saturday night as The Killers rock Singapore's biggest outdoor stage at the Grand Prix as part of their Battle Born World Tour with hits such as 'Runaways', 'Mr. Brightside', 'Human', 'Somebody Told Me', 'All These Things That I've Done' and 'When You Were Young'.
