OCBC Titanium Presents Timbre Rock & Roots is proud to announce its biggest and best line-up yet for the festival's fourth year, performing on Thursday and Friday, 21 & 22 March 2013 at Fort Canning Green.
Featuring some of music's biggest names and living legends, the stellar line-up includes headliners The Voice of Led Zeppelin Robert Plant presents Sensational Space Shifters; and 12-time Grammy legend,Paul Simon. They will be joined by Bonnie Raitt, Jimmy Cliff, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Rufus Wainwright with an impressive tally of 30 Grammys amongst them. Presenting a unique, never-before-heard combination of classics and refreshing new tracks, these award-winning artists and respected legends whose respective live shows have won them rave reviews will no doubt satisfy both established and new fans.
In true Timbre Rock & Roots fashion, the diversity and quality of music being presented will appeal to a wide variety of audiences, who can choose from one and two day passes for their preferred festival experience. Like previous editions, festival-goers can look forward to multiple full-length concerts with one ticket.
To strengthen the festival experience for ticket holders, the festival's organisers have also moved the festival venue from Marina Promenade, where it has been held for the past three editions, to Fort Canning Green, a popular outdoor venue for concerts. The new venue expands the range of pre- and post- concert options with its proximity to Timbre @ The Substation, as well provides for a bigger audience capacity than previous editions without sacrificing optimal stage views from various angles of the festival grounds.
