PsalmiDeo Chorale

PsalmiDeo Chorale is composed of Singapore-based Filipino professionals brought together by their passion for singing and their love for choral music. What began as a church choir in 2002 has since evolved into a dynamic performance choir with a broad repertoire from classical, folk to contemporary music. The group is currently under the musical direction of Kiko Dimalanta.

Now on its 10th year, the choir opened their 2012 season with performances at the Titanic:The Artifact Exhibition at the ArtScience Museum of Marina Bay Sands, and the “Play It Back!” outdoor music festival at The Esplanade Park. The choir also performed at the Diplomatic Corps Gala Dinner hosted by the Philippine Embassy in Singapore during the 114th Philippine Independence Day Celebrations.

In 2010, the group performed in their first major self-produced concert “Manila, ManiLAH”. They also performed as part of the SCO Ensemble Series 2010 and 2011 at the SCH, the Singapore Heritage Festival in Suntec City, and in the Spanish festival “Noche de Estrellas” in collaboration with Dance Circle Studios. The chorale’s other concert credits include “Celebrate Christmas” in 2008 and 2009 at The Esplanade, and “Seasons in Song” with Babes Conde at the Singapore Arts House. The group has also performed at the Kallang Theatre, the Singapore Arts Museum, the Asian Civilizations Museum, and at various official functions organised by the Philippine Embassy.
