Pastel Lite

From the capital of Malaysia comes Pastel Lite, an experimental duo comprised of Vocalist Eff Hakim and multi-instrumentalist Mohd Faliq. After meeting via Facebook in 2012, the pair joined forces to release a run of promising demos (see ‘Have Me’, ‘Gold’ and ‘Underdog’) that combine subtle harmonic vocals and minimal electronic melodies to much effect. Deemed a “reckoning force” by Time Out Kuala Lumpur and listed by Esquire Malaysia as one of “50 things to look forward to in 2013”, there is much to be anticipated from the band’s upcoming debut EP release.
