FreshTake! 2024 Open Call

Uncovering varied perspectives from the next generation of student filmmakers.

FreshTake! is a short film programme featuring works by current students and recent graduates from Singapore. After the success of last year’s inaugural edition, which showcased a range of short films confronting topics spanning from the absurd to the nuances of everyday life, the FreshTake! Open Call is back again to uncover even more varied perspectives from the next generation of filmmakers!

Selected films will be screened at Objectifs in August 2024, accompanied by talks and post-screening discussions.

This programme is held in conjunction with the Objectifs x Momo Film Co Short Film Incubator 2024.

APPLICATION CRITERIA

1. Applicants must be individuals based in Singapore:
a) Who are currently enrolled in full-time education as students
b) Or were graduates (between Jan 2023 to Apr 2024) who completed their films while enrolled as a full-time student.

Kindly note that proof of identity may be required for verification purposes.

2. The submitted short film must have been completed in 2023 or 2024.

3. The duration of the submitted short film must be 30 minutes or shorter (including credits).

All submissions must be made in the English language. Films in any other language other than English must have English subtitles.

Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
