Join us in celebrating the 10th year anniversary of Aliwal Urban Art Festival (AUAF) this 27 January 2024 at the Aliwal Arts Centre! Organised by Arts House Limited during the last weekend of Singapore Art Week 2024, visitors can expect to be immersed in Singapore’s vibrant urban arts and culture scene through a series of exciting activities led by various renowned local urban arts groups and communities of different artistic practices. From interactive activities like silk screen painting, and family-friendly dance workshops, to engaging showcases like a live graffiti competition, on top of open studio sessions, performances and more, AUAF invites all to enjoy an eclectic array of free and ticketed unique art-ivities at the heart of the vibrant cultural enclave.

In conjunction with the 10th year of Rebel Daughters and Grafffight!, urban art collective RSCLS presents a new programme titled ‘10 years of SOLIDARITY MOVEMENT’ where visitors will get deeply acquainted with the street art culture and the homegrown graffiti and street art scene. For visitors who prefer to move and groove, an array of dance and music workshops by The Improv Co., DASSAD, and Nine Years Theatre await, allowing anyone and everyone to learn the ways of expressing themselves through music and movement.

Alternatively, visitors can feast their eyes on entrancing roving performances by renowned Malay drum ensemble NADI Singapura, Chowk Productions, 4 R&B, and dynamic street dance duo ScRach MarcS, or get up-close-and-personal with the respective art groups at their available open studios. Visitors who enjoy the thrill of finding unexpected, quaint treasures, can also check out the Arts Market which will feature one-of-a-kind crafts from several urban creatives.
