Porsche presents The Art of Dreams Singapore with 'Dream Big.' by Chris Labrooy
Fresh from its debut at Design Miami 2022 'The Art of Dreams' a global initiative by Porsche returns to Singapore - this time with another larger-than-life installation from Chris Labrooy. The artwork 'Dream Big.' is a fun homage to childhood dreams - with the Porsche 911 Carrera as a centerpiece in the hand of a larger-than-life figure with a racing driver's helmet. Given the sheer size of the figure the 911 Carrera looks like a toy car. Singapore is the first and only stop in Asia for Chris Labrooy's latest artwork.
Chris Labrooy is an artist and designer who lives and works in Scotland. His work focuses on the digital space with highly realistic renders of unexpected environments and dream-like situations often using cars as his subject and muse. He is a long time friend and collaborator of the brand and an avid Porsche driver himself.
Open to all, Labrooy's sculpture hopes to awaken the child in every one of us and challenges beholders to dream big.
Alongside the physical art installation Porsche Singapore will also curate a gallery within its new temporary experiential brand space at Mandala Club to showcase some of Labrooy's other artworks.
