A Date with Tradition 2023

Returning for its second edition, Arts House Limited (AHL) presents A Date with Tradition 2023 from 25 to 26 August at Stamford Arts Centre (SAC). Look forward to two evenings of captivating performances, hands-on activities, and artist showcases by local traditional art groups showcasing the beauty and richness of our traditional arts.

SAC will come to life with a variety of free multicultural activities for one and all. Delve into traditional art forms with Nanyang Explored! by Amazing Art Shuttle and learn to paint with special Chinese ink watercolour brushes inspired by the Nanyang style and a Community Batik Project by Kamal Arts that invites visitors to contribute in a collaborative batik piece. Immerse yourself in the exciting cross-cultural live performance of Kedai Sinseh that combines traditional Malay dance and Chinese music and discover the Korean traditional art of Minhwa through exhibitions and artist meet and greet sessions.
