Join Static Monsters, an international strongman competition held on the 29th of October at @oompf_fitness

The event consists in a max Log Press and an Axle Deadlift.

Compete against against worldwide (and local) athletes, as the event is held simultaneously in 55+ cities across the globe.

Open to men's and women's of all age and athletic level

The Static Monsters Worldwide is a one weekend, super sized strongman competition with events running across more than 65 cities simultaneously. All events follow the same rules, equipment regulations and scoring system. This offers competitors a world ranking on their Log Lift and Axle Deadlift.

Oompf! Fitness is hosting the 2022 Static Monsters Worldwide event in Singapore.

It’ll take place at our gym on the 29th of October (Saturday) at 2pm (weigh in from 11am onwards).

We are located at 130 East Coast Road, 428815.

The event consists in two lifts:




@activexphysio will provide free sports massage to help athletes recover and fix any discomfort they may experience during the event.

Having organized strongman competitions in Singapore since 2014, @Strongman_singapore is helping us by providing Wagon wheels that will allow athletes who can’t lift the massive 245kg axle implement we have built to use wagon wheels instead. The starting weight of only 110kg for the axle equipped with wagon wheels will make it easier for more athletes to get involved!

1)When is the registration deadline?
The last day for registration is the 30th September, but please register in advance for us to plan the venue for the right number of athletes!

2) Where can I train log press and axle deadlifts prior to the competition?
We are running strongman bootcamps at Oompf! Fitness on Fridays at 7.30pm. Please message us if you're interested to join.
Alternatively, you may practice push press (ideally on Swiss bar) and rack pulls at your usual #gym. However the "clean" part of the log is technical and requires a bit of training.
