International Women's Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Smoke & Mirrors are shining a spotlight on their highly skilled front-of-house woman, Kathleen Galicia. For this monumental day, she has created her very own cocktail special: the Forget-me-not cocktail, featuring gin, elderflower, lavender bitters, wolfberry and Ancho Reyes priced at SGD $18 ++. Created in luminous purple, reminiscent of the colour of International Women’s Day, this sweet and spicy cocktail will be one to remember!

Round up the brilliant ladies in your life and toast to their achievements! Clink and cheer with free flow Besserat de Bellefon Champagne available for two hours from 7.30 - 9.30pm at $88++. A glass of the Forget-me-not cocktail will be included as a welcome drink.

Kathleen has been with Smoke & Mirrors for over two years, and she currently assists as a barback on top of her front-of-house duties which is something she has always been interested in after watching the bartending team creating unique and innovative drinks.

She is excited about dispelling the stigma of the bar scene being a man’s only world and her advice to the women of this world is to be brave and step out of their comfort zone whenever possible, to not fall into a moulded stereotype.
