Eudaimonia - A Triple Bill

Sigma returns to the black box this year with a triple bill!

Catch three pairs of local choreographers and composers as they respond to the theme of eudaimonia – a central concept in Aristotelian ethics that describes the condition of striving for the highest human good – through contemporary dance, in an intimate setting of a black box.

Artistic Director Hong Guofeng and electronic sound artist Ahmad Khaliq present Deconstructing The Frameless Mind, a meditation on the tussle between society and self. Together with sound artist (guitar, vocals) Redwan Hamzah, Resident Choreographer Christina Chan concocts a flipbook of emotions in The Direction Of, while Guest Choreographer Marcus Foo and his frequent collaborator Venetia Lim uncover the intricacies of human relationships in Clouds.
