World Humanist Day 2021

We each have a unique story behind our beliefs and worldview, but have you ever wondered how folks around the world come to embrace secularism and humanism? To celebrate the annual World Humanist Day, HSS will be telling "Stories from around Asia" over the weekend of 26-27 June 2021. We’ve gathered an interfaith advocate and a changemaker from Singapore, a young Humanist leader and a science-promoting former theist from neighbouring South East Asia, as well as two prominent freethought activists from Nepal and Lebanon to share their journey to humanism. There will also be a representative from HI (Humanist International), our umbrella organisation to tell us about humanists at risk around the world.
