Battle for Singapore 2021

In commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the Fall of Singapore in 2021, NHB will be organising Battle for Singapore with a series of programmes for Singaporeans to learn more about the events leading up to the fall of Singapore. This year, NHB is partnering Museum Roundtable members, local heritage experts and heritage groups such as All Things Bukit Brown to feature various places and stories relating to the Japanese Occupation.

From 20 February to 14 March 2021, members of the public can participate in a variety of WWII related programmes. These include guided tours offered by NHB and partners, such as special tours to Fort Siloso, Former Ford Factory, National Gallery Singapore, Singapore Discovery Centre, and more. Members of the public can also look forward to WWII-themed talks/webinars and other family-friendly programmes.
