Are your kids between the ages of 10 and 15 years old and keen to explore Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR)?

Caltex’s signature Fuel Your School programme is back in partnership with Science Centre Singapore to inspire learning and enable students to be creators of technology!

The I am a Young MR Creator badge is a brand new and complimentary online learning programme*, providing the opportunity for young minds to:

- Gain an introduction into the world of AR and VR
- Make their own VR viewers
- Create AR content on their mobile phone

… and so much more!

In July participating students can join our youth mentors for consultation and to learn more about how to use the tools and technologies in AR

Registration begins on Friday, 26 June 2020 and is free!

Students can try their hand at 15 activities before unlocking a special project, where they will be given the opportunity to create an AR experience with a focus on renewable energy. Those who successfully complete all challenges will receive:

- An e-certificate of completion
- A one year complimentary subscription to the I am a Young Scientist platform

Students with outstanding projects will receive:
- A scholarship to attend a 2 day camp at Science Centre Singapore
- The chance to showcase their work at the award ceremony

For every fuel transaction made using the CaltexGO mobile application at service stations nationwide from June 26 to July 26 2020, Caltex will contribute $3 to fund the programme, capped at $60,000.
