SPM is partnering Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Dialogue in the Dark Singapore (DiDsg) to co-curate tours of the sculptures. The tours will be conducted by visually impaired guides from DiDsg and targeted for visually impaired as well as sighted visitors. Visitors are led through a mini-experience of the essential elements of the story of the Little Prince. Instead of just using sight, the visitors’ experience is heighten as tactile signals intensify through the sense of touch.
Visitors will get to feel the snake who had eaten an elephant, the long ears of the fox and the wavy hair of the Little Prince, amongst other experiences. Visitors have an opportunity to converse with the DiDsg guides and gain a better understanding of this unique tactile experience.
Free for Singaporean Citizens and Permanent Residents.
