RWS Summer Matsuri 2019

This June, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) brings the joy and treasures of Japan to the shores of Singapore with its first ever RWS Summer Matsuri! For four days, guests will join in the revelry of food, drinks, movies and cultural performances, enjoying a slice of the exciting offerings from the iconic Furusato Matsuri Tokyo, an annual Tokyo festival that draws throngs of locals and tourists.

Held annually in Spring at the Tokyo Dome, Furusato Matsuri Tokyo is a colossal festival where prefectures across Japan gather in the capital to showcase their region’s unique food and culture, from Hokkaido to Okinawa. RWS has brought selected offerings from this celebration to be available for the first time in Singapore.

At RWS’s Summer Matsuri, guests will be welcomed into the fold of a bumper crop of Japanese delights including over 38 different types of food. They can savour award-winning donburis, enjoy an exciting line-up of food and culture from six regions and nine prefectures in Japan as well as toast one another with over 55 types of sake, wine, spirits and beer.

Featuring award-winning donburis from Furusato Matsuri Tokyo’s National Donburi Championship, delicious grilled seafood from Hokkaido and desserts brought to Singapore for the first time, it will be a feast of food and drinks. To chill out, refreshing sake and delicious snacks specially imported from Japan await guests as they settle down to enjoy the Tokyo Koenji Awa-Odori Dance and Akita Kanto performances as well as free movie screenings.
