Speaker's Profile:
Michelle Taylorson began her training at Scottish Ballet in the Junior Associates, and went on to successfully gain a place at the Dance School of Scotland, Knightswood. Michelle furthered her training at London Studio Centre graduating with a Diploma in Musical Theatre in 2000.

Michelle's professional career began as a singer and Dancer in "Razzle Dazzle" and "On The Town" at the Hackney Empire. She then went on to tour South Africain "Tihany Spectacular". On returning to the UK,she performed in Couch Potatoes production of "Biloxi Blues", and "Cinderella is Not Good Enough", "The Nutcracker" at the Edinburgh festival and danced in the V.E. celebrations in Hyde Park.

Michelle successfully combined her career as a professional singer and dancer with teaching, having gained a Diploma in Dance Teaching at the British Ballet Organisation. She started teaching and choreographing for the Katrina Hughes School of Dance in Harrogate and C.S. musical productions in 2006. Over the last 12 years Michelle has successfully run her own dance and musical theatre schools in Barnes, West Ewell and Subriton.

Michelle has been a member of the PAA examining team since 2015.
