This 2-day course is designed for managers and executives with little or no knowledge of accounting and finance. Its aim is to introduce the accounting concepts and help participants to make sense of financial statements in a simple way.

This will be an interactive programme engaging participants to learn the basics of accounting and the importance of financial statements. Besides being able to read financial statements, participants will be introduced to financial analysis, cash flow management and investment decision making such as payout period, Net Present Value and Internal Rate of Returns.

Who Should Attend?
This course is intended for senior executives, newly promoted managers and non-financial managers who need to understand, interpret and evaluate financial statements and other finance related documents.

Methodology
This course is conducted using simple explanations and illustrations from real life examples to help participants understand and relate to their own working experiences. A number of financial statements of listed companies will be used to put into practice what was learnt in the course. Some quizzes and games will be used to make learning fun and interesting.
