Part Ii: Relationships and Reconciliation

Is there something you need to say to someone?

Relationships are complicated. Whether it’s a friendship, family line, or romantic partner, it’s easy to get into one, but incredibly difficult to move on from one. Inevitably, we’re all going to experience ups and downs in any relationship, but how do we handle it? Do you feel like there are always barriers in your communication? You try hard as you can to explain yourself, but no one seems to hear you and understand you.

You’re a single parent and you struggle with maintaining a close relationship with your children. You’re doing everything a mum should do and yet, none of your efforts seem to yield any effort. Instead, they only seem to make things worse.

You’ve given your all to helping people in their time of need. And somehow, when it comes to you, you don’t receive any of that same love for all that you’ve given. So where’s all the time and energy you spent on them? Where did it lead you?

You’re trying desperately to get over an ex. It’s been months.

You thought you’ve moved on from that relationship but it seems like all the relationships you’ve had after that are just repetitions of the same events all over again, just with different people. No matter how much you try, nothing’s changing.

Every relationship, it takes two hands to clap. Instead of focusing on the other party, ask yourself: what am I doing that lands me in this situation again and again?

There’s no reason to stay stuck and unable to move on from a relationship that is no longer serving either party. The question is, how do you move on from all that has happened to you powerfully so that it doesn’t happen again? How do you move on from the pain so that it no longer has control over you? Most importantly, what can you learn about yourself so that you can prevent yourself from encountering these situations all over again?

Experience Art For The Soul: An Awakening Journey Inwards, a 3-hour art healing workshop that aims to put you on the path to evolution and transformation. You’ll get:

RSVP with us @ 94891075 or online. We know what you’re thinking: I’m not artistically inclined. I’ve never passed my art class. I’ve never drawn a picture in my life. How could I possibly benefit from this?

Here’s where you’re mistaken. You don’t need any artistic skill. You only need a desire to turn your life around. Art is about expression. Authenticity. Living unapologetically.

What do you really want to say? We’re often clouded by conflicting emotions and attachments to really hear what we’re feeling deep down, to really hear what we’re dying to express.

It’s not always about mending the relationship and picking it up right where you left off. Sometimes it’s simply about expressing what you need for both of you to make peace with what happened and move on powerfully.

So, what would you do?
