The NCO Club has a storied past that lends it its charm, ever-present in a decades-old metamorphosis. The rich heritage of The NCO Club can be traced back to 17 December 1952, when it was officially launched as the NAAFI Britannia Club and served as a social amenity for non-commissioned officers and their families.
In 2002, The NCO Club was then gazetted along with Blocks 1, 9 and 14 of the Beach Road Camp for conservation by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), and became one of the first modern architectural heritage buildings to be conserved in Singapore.
