Experience Asia's rich maritime history at The Maritime Experiential Museum, an interactive, multi-sensorial museum for the whole family.
In our key exhibition, the “Pirates of the East”, the Chinese pirate Cai Qian is your guide and host as you sail through their fascinating world – how they lived, robbed, pillaged and met their end. Learn more about famous Eastern Pirates like Cai Qian himself and the heroic Pirate Hunters like the Ming Admiral Zheng He who pursued and brought them to justice.
Take an interactive journey along the ancient Maritime Silk Route and experience a terrifying shipwreck in the 360° multi-sensory Typhoon Theatre. An array of precious artefacts from the Bakau shipwreck and Temasek archaeological site awaits you at the Maritime Archaeology Gallery.
