Phenomenal improvements in the research and development of the fundamental aspects of contemporary music education in philosophies, teaching pedagogy, and the development of a comprehensive graded exam syllabus for popular music were being made.

Decades of tireless commitment to advancing and supporting the growth of contemporary music education has contributed to increased accessibility for all with a rigorous and industry-relevant educational framework.

The impact of the rise in popularity of contemporary music has been felt by the world, and has influenced the way contemporary music is taught and perceived by society. In the wake of two decades of unparalleled tradition in contemporary music education excellence, RS Event Center organizes the Rockschool Graded Music Exams—the world’s first graded exam syllabus for popular and contemporary music for the whole of Singapore.

By working closely with esteemed music institutions in Singapore, these long term partnerships will spur and empower a new generation of music students and music lovers in Singapore and in the Asia Pacific region. In 2018, RS Event Center will bring you two events: the Asia Supreme Drum Competition, and the Asia Youth Piano Competition. Registration is open now.
