Helming the kitchen is Kartigesu who brings with him a wealth of culinary expertise and experience spanning more than two decades that saw him cutting his teeth as an apprentice in Crown Prince Hotel Penang. This was where his love for blending Western techniques with Eastern flavours began. Mentored by a strict Hainanese chef, he mastered their art of combining the British colonial love for steaks, pies, pints, chips and curries with local Straits spices and nuances.
