A History of Alkaff Mansion
Previously named Bukit Jagoh and now known as Telok Blangah Green, one of Singapore’s official heritage sites was built by Syed Abdul Rahman Alkaff who came from Yemen. The mansion was owned by the Alkaff family whose ancestors arrived in Singapore from Indonesia in 1852 until it was abandoned after World War II.
