Kids Fest
In early 2012 ABA Productions launched the inaugural KidsFest: a three-week Festival of world-class theatre for young people in Hong Kong and Singapore. Dedicated to creating and promoting a wide variety of performance styles from all corners of the world. "KidsFest is an exciting Festival for the whole family where compelling characters are brought to life and scenes from well-loved books are enacted vividly on stage.
It is a wonderful platform for family interaction and at the same time, nurtures a child’s interest in literature and language. KidsFest has become a key event on Singapore’s calendar of cultural events when families can look forward to a series of world-class productions," said Matthew Gregory, Executive Producer of ABA Productions Ltd. Since 2012, KidsFest has grown, and in 2015 there are 8 different productions over 5 weeks.
On top of the performances, KidsFest+ adds an extra layer of interactivity to the festivities. For selected show dates and times, the audience can meet the talented people behind the show up close in special meet and greet sessions, or enjoy the photo wall, photobooth and free face painting at a selection of performances as well! And don’t forget to pick up a balloon on the way out!
