Annie Leibovitz is one of America's best-known photographers. She has developed a large body of work —portraits of actors, directors, writers, musicians, athletes, politicians and business figures, as well as fashion photographs — that expanded her collective portrait of contemporary life.
Portraits of well-known figures, including actors and artists will be on display at the exhibition.
This critically acclaimed exhibition opened in 2006 at the Brooklyn Museum in New York. Singapore is one of only two cities in Asia, after an appearance in Seoul. Featuring almost 200 of the best photographs from her extensive collection, Annie Leibovitz A Photographer’s Life 1990-2005 opens on April 18 to October 19 2014 at the ArtScience Museum.
