Organised annually by the Ngee Ann Cultural Centre (NACC), a subsidiary of The Ngee Ann Kongsi, the The Ngee Ann Photographic Exhibition (NAPE) 2025 is a community arts exhibition showcasing the talents of local photographers and promoting photographic arts in Singapore.

Held at LASALLE College of the Arts, this year’s edition is themed “60 x 3: From Our Roots to Beyond”, paying tribute to 60 years of Singapore’s independence and celebrating the 180-year heritage of The Ngee Ann Kongsi through the eyes of local photographers. Visitors can enjoy over 170 works from public submissions, as well as contributions by 29 distinguished local photographers, including Cultural Medallion recipients Mr Foo Tee Jun and the late Mr Tan Lip Seng; and emerging artists such as street photographer Betty Goh and architecture photographer Mr Darren Soh. Admission is free to the public.

A key highlight of this year’s exhibition is “Travel Memories Through the Lens”, a curated series of 20 stunning photographic works from decades of travels by Mr Lim Leong Kiat PBM, the recipient of the annual Ngee Ann Photographer of the Year (POY) Award. A Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) by profession, Mr Lim’s award-winning works have received widespread acclaim.

He will also deliver a Special Talk titled “Through the Lens: The Art of Travel Photography”, where he will share personal reflections, techniques, and insights into how travel photography shapes the way we perceive and connect with the world. The talk is free and open to all, and will take place on Saturday, 14 June 2025, at 2pm, in Lecture Theatre Room F202 at LASALLE College of the Arts.
