About the Speaker
Before joining Suzuki Coffee in 1985, Freddy Loo was first an apprentice to its founder, Hideki Endo, in 1975. Since then, Freddy has dedicated over four decades to perfecting the art and science of coffee roasting.
In that time, Freddy has risen through the ranks to become Suzuki’s revered Master Roaster – an embodiment of the company’s commitment to craftsmanship, consistency, and heritage. His hands have shaped the flavours of generations, ensuring that every roast carries the legacy of Suzuki and its bold embrace of local innovation. Today, Freddy remains the quiet force behind every batch, guiding Suzuki’s roastery with the same passion that first drew him to the craft.
