Run for Inclusion 2022

Organised by Runninghour, Run for Inclusion 2022 makes a grand return for its eighth edition! This year, held as an in-person event, the national running event where participants run alongside runners with special needs will be held at the 124-hectare grounds of event partner - Singapore Turf Club (STC).

Being one of the largest inclusive running events in Singapore, it fosters the integration of Persons with Special Needs (PWSNs), including the hard-on-hearing, physically, visually and intellectually challenged, and persons with autism or mental recovery. Such events promote bonding and empower them to participate in mainstream activities to cultivate a more inclusive society.

The event will comprise the cycle, run and walk categories, including a personalised distance of up to 3km, 3km or 5km run or walk, 10km run as well as the 20km cycling category (which also comprises a tandem cycling category to cater for PWSNs).

Following the tradition of the previous years' runs, Runninghour will also offer complimentary entries to all PWSN for the event. This is possible in partnership with Central Singapore Community Development Council under the 'SoleMate' programme.

Participants can look forward to an exciting line-up of activities, an inflatable obstacle course designed for children with special needs and a carnival.
