Award-winning restaurant-bar, Tippling Club welcomes 2018 Absolut Vodka Invite Global Winners, George Steven Hunter, Bar Manager; and Cameron-Leigh Henning, Head Bartender, of both Saint and Marble Restaurants, for a one-night only takeover. Supported by Absolut Vodka, the duo will feature six different cocktails specially designed for the night, giving guests an interesting taste of South Africa.
This event marks the first time a takeover has been under Pernod Ricard, one of the world’s largest distiller. Pernod Ricard has a unique portfolio of premium international brands including Absolut Vodka, Beefeater Gin, Jameson Whisky, and Ballantine’s Scotch.
Take your pick from the six different South African-inspired cocktails formulated by George and Cameron-Leigh, including Ubuntu, which means “I am because we are”, concocted with Absolut Vodka, milktart syrup, spekboom, and buchu sour; The Shebeen, which stands for an unlicensed bar or pub, consisting of Havana 7, espresso, citrus, bitters, elderflower soda, and Bénédictine DOM; and Sho’ Skebenga, a Zulu word for a gangster, a mix of Absolut Vodka, apple champagne, and buttered beer syrup.
