Singapore Garden Festival: Horticulture Show 2019

The inaugural SGF Horticulture Show (SGF Hort Show), organised by the National Parks Board (NParks), will take place from 27 April to 5 May 2019. An offshoot of the Singapore Garden Festival (SGF), the nine-day biennial event will showcase horticulture excellence with local industry partners, students and the community demonstrating their talent and expertise.

Key highlights include a Vertical Greenery Competition showcasing unique creations designed by professionals from Singapore’s landscape industry; the Aquascape Display and Competition where visitors can feast their eyes on beautiful underwater garden landscapes and My Mini Eden—a terrarium competition displaying more than 100 creative works by students and the community.

Plant enthusiasts and growers can showcase their prowess in cultivating plants from nine different categories through the Horticultural Competition. Submissions are open now till 25 April.

SGF Hort Show will also feature non-competitive displays such as the Miniature Settings and an exhibition of beautiful bonsai specimens from Jurong Lake Gardens, local bonsai collectors and nurseries.

The popular SGF MarketPlace will also make its return, offering plants, gardening and horticultural products, as well as food and drinks.

The SGF Hort Show is suitable for everyone across all ages and will be open for free to the public.
