Are you ready to ride into the future of engineering? Get a firm head start by heading down to National Engineers Day (NED) 2019 this July. Back for its 10th year, NED is a youth-centric event organised by The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) to instil passion in engineering amongst the younger generation.

This year, under the theme of "Shape the future through Engineering", NED will serve up a series of exciting talks and workshops. It will be the event for students and their families to discover new cool technological innovations developed by engineers and the endless possibilities of an engineering career.

In collaboration with Science Centre Singapore, IES will also host the Engineering Innovation Challenge (EIC) at NED 2019. Visitors will be able to see bright solutions created by local and international students, under the guidance of industry mentors in response to the topic, "Radiation is Everywhere".

Don’t be a bystander in the uber cool world of engineering! Visit NED to find out how you can shape tomorrow’s world by becoming an engineer.

About the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES)

The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) was formally established in July 1966 as the national society of engineers in Singapore. IES is the premier engineering institution in Singapore and is called upon by the Government to provide feedback on professional engineering matters.

IES is well-represented among the faculty members of the major engineering institutions of higher learning in Singapore. Through close collaboration with the local universities and polytechnics, IES organises courses, seminars and talks for engineers and IES members to advance the continuous development of engineers.
