Inaugural ‘Singapore Drink’ Event

Tippling Club unveils an all-new programming this March with the inaugural edition of a bi-monthly tattoo-themed event—‘Singapore Drink’. Kicking off the first theme in the series, ‘Tiki/Polynesian’, Tippling Club’s resident tattooist, Joe Wang from 8 Volts tattoo studio and Samuel Yar from Of Gods and Monsters tattoo studio, will be doing interpretations of Polynesian tattoo designs that Chef-owner of Tippling Club, Ryan Clift, created.

The event will feature a light-hearted cocktail competition between Tippling Club and Kuala Lumpur's best rum bar and 38th Asia’s Best Bar, Jungle Bird. Jungle Bird is named after a drink created in the 1970s at the Hilton’s Aviary Bar, incidentally the first rum bar in Kuala Lumpur. Jungle Bird’s offering encompasses a wide variety of spirit categories with a heavy focus on rum, purposefully handpicked from around the world with the idea to create an ever-evolving selection and offer a refreshing respite from the city’s heat.

In line with the theme, Tippling Club and Jungle Bird will present a refreshing twist on three classic Tiki drinks each. Thereafter, a tag-team challenge between both bars will commence—whereby, a representative from each bar will face-off as they prepare ‘Tiki’ drinks and tag the other bartender in after an hour. Representing Jungle Bird are Divyesh Chauhan and Joshua Ivanovic, who have over a decade of solid hospitality experience and significant accolades under their belts.

The Tippling Club’s Kitchen will also be serving Polynesian-style canapes throughout the event. Get ready for a day of good food and drinks, good company with bright shirts and Hawaiian music.
