Usher in the Year of the Pig with your family through a fun-filled weekend at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre! In the spirit of reunion, families can put their heads together in a mass hunt for the real Cai Shen Ye; or join hands to learn more about our cultural traditions through a series of Chinese New Year-themed craft and cultural workshops from upcycling, bento-making to lion dancing.
Families can also get together to the tunes of local wind percussion ensemble Reverberance or delight in a special exhibition by local illustrator Ah Guo—all part of a curated line-up of programmes that will appeal to all ages. Rounding up the festivities is a limited edition red packet with an original sound track that offers a sweet call to lohei, which visitors can collect stamps at the event to redeem the red packets.
Whether young or old, it will definitely not be a “boar-ing” Chinese New Year for visitors to the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre!
