The setting and atmosphere of a film is brought to life with location, costumes and sets. Creating a visual world for a film is an important role, where the production designer ensures that each location and set is in line with the vision of the director. Production designer James Page shares the importance of bringing visual elements to life in a film context, the responsibilities of a production designer, and how good art direction can make a difference to your film.
