“Vinyasa” is often loosely translated to “breath-synchronized movement”, where practitioners use the breath to guide the practice. Vinyasa Flow links every movement together; there is no stop and go. The magic of the practice lies in the transitions. Gracefully linking each position to the next, makes your practice a moving meditation and a graceful dance between effort and ease. Tying it all together with the breath creates all the magic.

In this 4-week program, explore the magic of linking your breath with the movements, and experience the all-encompassing benefits of a vinyasa practice. Through carefully guided practice sessions with the trainer, we will learn basic and safe alignment of different versions of Surya Namaskar (sun salutations) and common poses used in vinyasa classes. Besides an introduction to the different poses, variations, options and modifications of the poses will also be provided to suit different body types and conditions. Above and beyond the physical practice, emphasis will be placed on the guiding concepts of how to link breath and movement.

At the end of the 4 weeks, be equipped with the awareness and knowledge that will stay with you for life. Find comfort and ease in a vinyasa practice to create space within your own body. Move into the space within to truly tune inwards and dive into the essence of yoga practice. Suitable for beginners and those seeking to build a good foundation for their yoga practice.
