Inviting audience reflection on artistic methods employed by artists to explore and expand on the concept of the artistic self, Reframe is a series of public programmes accompanying the exhibition The Artist’s Voice.
The Artist’s Voice exhibition features around 40 works by 34 contemporary artists from Europe and Asia, created in the past 50 years. The exhibition illustrates how contemporary art can transfer essential messages and existential revelations.
Reframe Programmes
- Saturday Sketching – Participants draw inspiration from selected works in the exhibition to create drawings of their own, guided by Museum Assistants.
- Acts of Voicing – Dialogue session featuring Singaporean artists Lee Wen, Ho Tzu Nyen, and Jason Wee questioning the artist’s role in society. Moderated by Dr. Lorand Hegyi, Artistic Director, The Parkview Museum Singapore.
- Complimentary guided tours
- PVM Live! Closing Party – Held on 27 January at 7pm, the closing party will feature performances by experimental musician Bani Haykal and Weishh from indie-electronic band .gif, along with a live DJ set by Rah from Darker Than Wax.
