During this festive season, we are keeping our minds on sustainable and unique gifts so we are hosting a 'Ready, Cassette, Go! Up-cycling Workshop' with Rehyphen® where participants will be taught how to transform the magnetic film strips in old cassette tapes into a portrait. Using a traditional basket weaving technique, they will end up with a self-made upcycled piece of art gift full of nostalgia and mindfulness.

Rehyphen® studio started this upcycling initiative whereby discarded cassette/video tapes are collected from the community and weaved in an effort to reduce and eliminate e-waste while giving the product new life. This sustainable initiative also reminisces oldies music and has used 868 cassette tapes to date!

This workshop will be led by J.J. Chuan, Founder of Rehyphen® together with her mum. Let J.J. guide you to transform this piece of MusicCloth® into your own self portrait. This unique and sustainable gift enables anyone to recall pleasant memories and translate their stories with MusicCloth®.
