Light & Colours: Art of Vietnam, Singapore & Malaysia (18–29 July) expresses how artists respond to light and colours, articulating their feelings through their chosen art medium. Featuring art from eight leading artists in the region, the styles range from traditional, to contemporary and abstract, with each artist telling a vivid background story of their culture and heritage through their works. Award winning Singaporean contemporary ink painters Hong Sek Chern and Anthony Chua will grace the exhibition, with Sek Chern telling a tale of the changing urban landscapes, and Anthony preserving a moment in time, depicting the erosion of old buildings in our city.
