Tenth Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship swings into Singapore.

The 2018 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship (AAC) will be staged at one of the most celebrated golf clubs in Asia, when the tenth edition tees off.

Singapore joins China (2009,2013) as the second two-time host of the championship, with the event last staged in the Lion City in 2011 when Japanese star Hideki Matsuyama retained his title as an amateur.

The champion earns an invitation to the 2019 Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club as well as The 148th Open at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland. The field will feature more than 100 amateurs from 41 countries who will compete over 72 holes of stroke play.

The AAC was founded in 2009 by the Masters Tournament, The R&A and the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation to develop the game throughout the region and has established itself as one of the most elite international amateur golf tournaments in the world.

The 2018 AAC will be televised around the world. Entry to the most significant amateur golf event in the Asia-Pacific is free.
