With the availability and access of equipment and technology, the barriers to entry have never been lower for filmmakers who are just starting out. But how do you create a film that stands out? Learn what makes a good quality film and how good storytelling can help draw audiences to your film in this workshop. We will also discuss the principles of what makes a good script, how to leverage on the current media climate and technology, and how to develop your creativity to make premium films that will sell globally.

BananaMana Films is a multi-international award-winning Singapore production company that specializes in creating Asian scripted dramas in English for web, TV and film. Their first drama “What Do Men Want?” was broadcast on national TV in 2014 and was awarded “Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series”. Their second drama series “Perfect Girl” went on to win 7 international awards from 16 nominations. Their third project, “Bang Bang Club”, is in pilot stage but has already won a Remi Award (Houston International Film Festival) and two nominations at the Indie Series Awards in Los Angeles. Founded by Christian Lee and Jason Chan, BananaMana Films is currently working on two new dramas for regional audiences.
