Music@Empress is back and we can’t wait to see you with your picnic baskets and mats at the Empress Lawn from 6pm! Featuring established arts groups and local community based arts groups, Music@Empress is part of NAC’s efforts to energize the Civic District through programming at outdoor spaces. Come 28 October, four local artists that you won’t want to miss out will be presenting various familiar tunes!

Artists featured include:

- Debbi Koh - An upcoming indie singer songwriter who aspires to touch listeners with her dainty and mellow voice, Debbi posted her first YouTube video in 2012 and has progressed on to competitions such as “The Final One”. eHr first single “Frankenstein” was released in 2014 and is set to release her debut EP later this year.

- Ffion Williams - Ffion has accumulated over 630k streams online and is listed as one of the artists to watch in 2017 by Spotify. She has also undergone the Noise Mentorship Programme and has released her EP earlier this year.

- Maricelle - Maricelle is an indie pop singer-songwriter, fresh off the launch of her first EP “Pursuit” and debut of her 5-piece live band at the Esplanade Annexe Studio. Her music features a blend of pop, contemporary R&B and UK pop-rock electronica. The “Pursuit” EP (2017) is Maricelle’s bold personal statement, and is now available on Spotify, iTunes and other digital platforms.

- Tim De Cotta - Styled in R&B and HipHop, Tim draws influences from artists such as Maxwell, John Legend and Mos Def. Tim has pushed boundaries and created musical diversity by writing and producing with bands such as TAJ, L.A.B, neoDominatrix and Kilo Habit.
