Learn how to cook a pot of spicy soup with many delicious ingredients in just one pot. Army stew (budae jjige) is a type of hot pot (a thick Korean soup similar to a Western stew). Soon after the Korean war, food was scarce in Korea. People made used of surplus food such as hot dogs, Spam, or ham and incorporated them into a traditional spicy soup flavoured with gochujang (red chili paste) and kimchi.

Instant noodles and cheese can also be added into the stew, as well as beef, or even tofu and mushroom for a healthier choice. Come join us and learn this dish so you can invite your family and friends over on a cold weather and cook a delicious meal to warm their stomachs.
