What lets you experience flying without having to go through cadet school? Drones! If you thought that Drones are only used to deliver goods and film aerial shots, think again – did you know that Drones are also built for flying competitions?

On March 11 and 12 (Saturday and Sunday), you’ll be one of the first to witness the first-ever in-mall Drone stunt show. The upper floors of the Mall will be decked up to display the flying prowess of the many Drones piloted by members from Performance Rotors.

As a strong supporter of the community and its neighbours, White Sands, in partnership with Performance Rotors, will also be hosting a series of workshops on March 11, Saturday at the Pasir Ris Public Library on Level 4 to allow families to learn and experience the joys of building their own Drone and piloting it as well! Slots are limited, and sign-ups can be done through Level 2 Customer Service counter.

If your interest is piqued after the workshop and stunts, come down on June 24, Saturday and catch the professionals in action as the mall hosts the first ever in-mall Drone flying competition!

- Drones workshop with Performance Rotors – March 11, Saturday at 10am /11:30am /3:15pm /4.45pm (Pasir Ris Public Library, Level 4)

- First ever in-mall Drone competition – June 24, Saturday at mall's main atrium.
