Equilibrium puts together an impressive showcase, featuring artworks by students and staff of Assumption Pathway School (APS) and local artists. The displays include 2D and 3D art installations, in various styles and medium, from drawing to painting to pottery and mixed media. The collaboration with the artists of diverse discipline, Mr Jeffrey Wandly, Mr Kamal Dollah, Mr Abu Jalal Sarimon and SOTA Visual Arts student, Miss Nuryn Qistina, allows APS students to have an authentic experience, exploring various creative forms and styles of art-making. The exhibitions offer viewers a glimpse of the rich experience and relationships forged.

Equilibrium is a state of balance. Primarily in art, it is a way of combining elements to add a feeling of stability and harmony to an art work. Through a process of describing, analysing and interpreting artworks, APS students learn to sharpen their opinions and communicate its significance. They also learn the required techniques of their chosen art form and eventually, conceptualise and develop their individual or group work.

This exhibition creates an opportunity for the students to have a deeper engagement with arts through culture and heritage activities by being able to showcase their work beyond the school community, especially in public spaces. The exhibition will certainly provide them with an opportunity to flourish and excel. It also hopes to motivate more students in the school to nurture their interests and talents beyond school and encourage them to see themselves as part of a wider arts and culture community.
